This delightful wine shows aromas of peach and exotic Asian spices on opens to a moderately full-bodied wine with minerality that speaks to the cool climate sites. Good acid and backbone release the late palate yellow stone fruit - peach and apricot - flavors. Delicious paired with Gruyere, shellfish, roasted poultry and cream sauces.

A kiss of french oak, partial barrel fermentation with a portion of the wine aged in the barrel on lees and 50% malolactic fermentation.

2009 started off with a warmer, drier spring followed by a summer with average heat. Harvest concluded in late September producing evenly ripened grapes showing full concentration and balanced acid producing fruit with bright flavors.
